Our test kitchen went undercover to determine the best mail-order sources for gifts of fresh seafood. During last year’s holiday rush, staffers ordered anonymously from many companies and rated the seafood on its appearance, flavor, and freshness. They also evaluated each company’s customer service, delivery time, and shipping containers, including gift packaging where available."
