"The Rowans", my home in Tobermory, Isle of Mull, Scotland is a comfortable and spacious four bedroomed house with accommodation for six people. Located in Tobermory's upper village at the corner of Victoria and Breadalbane Streets, this lovely old, three storied house was built in the 1820s on a double lot with a large private walled garden. " The Rowans" appears on the British Fisheries Society's plan of 1790 as "The Weaver's House". All rooms overlook Tobermory Bay, the Sound of Mull and the Hills of Morvern on the Scottish mainland.
The ground floor has a large living/dining room, a new sun lounge with patio, a new well equipped eat-in kitchen, and a newly added shower room and toilet. There are two double bedrooms on the first floor (one with a double and single bed), and a bathroom with bathtub, electric shower and toilet. The top floor has 2 single bedrooms. All bedrooms have washbasins, wall-mounted, timed electric convector heaters and continental quilts. The Rowans floorplan.
"The Rowans' is suitable for a maximum of six people. Rent includes provision of all necessary household linen and towels. Electricity is not included in the tariff.

The house is completely furnished and carpeted wall to wall throughout, colour television, and heated with electric storage heaters ( Total Control ). The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer etc.
The sun porch opens on to a paved patio. There is plenty of safe space to play games in the double garden, brick outdoor grill, washing green and off-street parking in a private driveway leading to Victoria Street. It is a short walk down the Post Office Brae to Main Street restaurants, shops and harbour.
The Rowans' neighbours include Balamory's "Spencer The Painter".
