ABOUT US

 The Scottish Smoked Salmon Co. in Olney, Maryland has been importing Tobermory Smoked Salmon and Rainbow Trout for fourteen years from The Tobermory Fish Company (established in 1971).  After being smoked slowly with island woods, the hand-sliced, vacuum-sealed packs are shipped on the ferry to the mainland of Scotland and the following day arrive at BWI Airport in Maryland. The speed of this unique service ensures absolute freshness and superb flavor .  What sets us apart from other companies is that we personally know everyone who is involved in the whole process.

 The salmon was a  favorite for years of Manhatten's Russian Tea Room.  It's rich peachy-orange flesh is lightly smoked and has a firm, tender texture. The cold-smoked rainbow trout are raised to six pounds in Aros Loch . Both the salmon and trout are sliced in the traditional Scottish long slices.

Featured in Bon Appetit's "Bon Vivant", Gourmet's " Food Gifts by Mail", and Simply Seafood's "Flying Fish: Seafood by Mail". You can enjoy these traditional Scottish delicacies delivered to your home or office. One pound serves four to five people for a main course and ten to twelve as an appetizer.
